September 2025 Jewish Calendar

Rosh Hashanah, also known as the Jewish New Year, is a two-day celebration that marks the beginning of the Jewish year 5786. In September 2025, Rosh Hashanah falls on the 30th and lasts until October 1st. It is a time for reflection, repentance, and renewal, as Jews around the world gather to pray, feast, and blow the shofar to welcome the new year.

Following Rosh Hashanah is Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, which is considered the holiest day in the Jewish calendar. In 2025, Yom Kippur begins at sundown on October 9th and ends at nightfall on the 10th. It is a day of fasting, prayer, and introspection, where Jews seek forgiveness for their sins and commit to a year of spiritual growth and renewal.
